At school, kindergarten, and home, children spend a surprisingly large part of the day in slippers. Yet, children's slippers are often the last thing parents pay attention to. However, it is in them that the foot develops in exactly the same way as in outdoor footwear. Superfit children's slippers for school and home are therefore designed in cooperation with orthopedists and pediatricians to provide the foot with the same care as quality children's outdoor shoes.
The heart of each pair is an anatomically shaped insole made of natural cork covered with leather, which supports both the longitudinal and transverse arches and naturally follows the shape of the foot. The lightweight EVA sole absorbs shocks, is non-slip, and leaves no marks on the floor. And thanks to adjustable buckles or Velcro fasteners, you can easily adjust the width precisely to your child's foot. These are orthopedic slippers in which feet truly rest.
Why do quality slippers matter for children?
A child's foot is soft and pliable. Every shoe a child wears regularly affects its shape and development. Children's slippers without arch support and with a flat insole can lead to unhealthy strain on the foot, even if they look harmless at first glance. Orthopedists therefore recommend choosing footwear with an anatomically shaped insole and a firm heel cup even for home and school wear.
Superfit children's slippers meet exactly what orthopedists require:
- Cork insole with leather cover, which naturally supports the arch, anchors the heel, and adapts to the shape of the foot. Cork is also a renewable resource, making it an ecological choice.
- Deep heel cup keeps the heel in the correct position and prevents the foot from twisting inwards. The foot is stable even when running down the hallway.
- Non-marking non-slip sole ensures safe movement on smooth floors at school, kindergarten, and home. No marks on parquet, no slipping on tiles.
- Adjustable buckles or Velcro fasteners allow the slippers to be adapted to the width of the foot. Thanks to this, children's orthopedic slippers fit both narrow and wider feet without compromise.
- Breathable materials wick away moisture and maintain a comfortable climate all day long. Textile or synthetic uppers are easy to clean and quick to dry.

Slippers for school, kindergarten, and home
Most schools and kindergartens require indoor shoes with a non-marking sole. Superfit children's orthopedic slippers meet this condition and also provide the foot with support that ordinary cheap indoor shoes lack. A child spends 6 or more hours a day in them, so children's orthopedic slippers are not an unnecessary luxury, but a sensible investment in the correct development of the foot.
For home, Superfit slippers are a practical alternative to children's slippers. While slippers keep you warm in colder months, cork slippers excel in spring and summer when breathability and lightness are needed. However, both variants are united by the essential: anatomical insole and arch support.
And if you are looking for outdoor footwear with the same foot care, check out our children's all-season footwear, children's sneakers, or summer footwear. In the girls' shoes and boys' shoes categories, you will then find models for every taste.
How to choose the correct size of children's slippers?
For open-toed slippers, choosing the size is slightly easier than for closed footwear, but one rule still applies: never buy slippers that are too big "to grow into". The foot slides in them, the toes cramp, and the cork insole then cannot fulfill its function.
Measuring the foot takes two minutes. Have the child stand on paper in socks, use a pencil perpendicular to the floor to mark the end of the longest toe, and measure the distance from the heel in millimeters. Base it on the longer foot. Enter the measured value into the Superfit size calculator directly with the specific product.
Treat your children's feet to Superfit children's orthopedic slippers with a cork insole, in which they will feel comfortable all day long, whether in the school desk, kindergarten, or living room.
